What are the benefits of hosting with SkyTree Book Fairs?

By hosting a SkyTree Book Fair, you are integrated into a seamless book fair option for your school. Our team provides everything necessary for a successful fair, including a register and marketing materials. Through generous donors, we are able to offer free shipping to schools and whole number pricing at checkout. Our vast titles include wholesome, age appropriate literature, ensuring an exciting book fair for all students. Schools have an option of an in person or online book fair based on projected sales.

Are the books at a SkyTree book fair affordable for students?

Yes, we strive to offer a wide selection of affordable books, with whole number pricing. Our fairs provide great value while promoting wholesome literature. We strive to keep the majority of our book prices between $6.00 to $14.00.

How do we choose between an in-person and online book fair?

If your school expects sales exceeding $2,500, our in-person book fair is ideal, offering a full promotional kit, setup guide, and a curated list of books. For schools expecting less than $2,500, our online book fair provides a personal online portal, a digital marketing kit, and access to an exclusive online catalog. Online book fairs offer a SkyTree gift card reward, while in person fairs offer a cash back option in addition to a SkyTree gift card. Please note, we do require schools to have 200 or more students, if they are hosting an in person book fair.

What is the process for hosting a book fair?

We’ve streamlined the hosting process in four simple steps: (1) submit your school application, (2) lock in your date with a contract, (3) promote your fair with our digital marketing kit, and (4) set up your fair with provided materials. Once the fair is complete, our representatives will assist you through the close-out process so that you can receive your funds. Get started today!

How far in advance should we book a fair?

We recommend booking your SkyTree Book Fair at least six months in advance to ensure availability and allow ample time for promotion and preparation.

Can SkyTree Book Fairs accommodate small schools?

Absolutely! Our online book fair option is perfect for smaller schools with expected sales under $2,500. Online fairs offer the same great selection of wholesome books, with the convenience of a digital platform. Our online fairs benefit from a 45% back program, 5% more than in person fairs have the ability to earn.

Is a homeschool group considered school or a community partner?

The frequency of a homeschool group’s operations determines whether SkyTree considers it a school or a community partner. If a homeschool group meets in a commercial building full-time (4-5 days per week), SkyTree considers it a school with eligibility to host a book fair. If a homeschool group meets in a commercial building part-time (1-3 days per week), SkyTree considers it a community partner. Community partners are eligible for a pop-up event if their location is within the region that SkyTree serves for community partnerships. Learn more about pop-up events to see if your homeschool group is eligible. If you have more questions regarding the eligibility of your homeschool group, contact us.
